Whoops, I have been really bad at keeping things up to date on here. Here's a quick addition. Last weeked I did one of the first things I wanted to do on the house. Get ride of the green front door. I chose a nice blue color. People keep telling me it's something like a Williamsburg blue. Anyhow. I painted the door, and tried painting the Green storm door as well. That worked well except the hinges looked cruddy. So I went out to the store, bought a new white one. I found a new one for the side too since that one was falling out of shape. |

The whole process was harder than I thought because of some sizing issues with the door frame. But with help from Jul and Chris it went pretty smoothly. Now we have two new storm doors and two old ones sitting in the shed. I am going to paint a bit more with the blue color. Parts of the porch and windows. Maybe the trim? I'll let you know what I end up doing. |
