Every so often I realize that I've been spending too much. As a result I take a month (although the first time was 40 days) and 'fast' on spending. It's not easy, but it's quite helpful in many ways. Each time I've done this I have actually made between 50 and 200 dollars. Combine that with the money I didn't spend, and the fact that I reformed my spending, it can have a big impact financially.

Day 23: Not quite alright
Today I feel like I fell off the wagon. I had my yogurt and brought my lunch. By lunch time I didn't want to eat it, so I went out for lunch. I wanted to go to Sharkey's for buy one get one free burgers, but they were closed, so we decided would be alright to go to Rivermill. I droppped $7.10 at lunch when I should have spend $0. After lunch I noticed an email about a gift that I needed to get before December 8th. I could have possibly pushed it to December, but no I didn't want to risk it. It would be alright if I bought this ugh.. dangit.. doubled up my spending
Monday being dollar sushi night was supposed to be a time saver too. A bunch of people came out to join in the fun. Since the expensive rolls were discounted too, I decided it would be alright if I bought a more expensive roll, and just like that, doubled up my spending again. Crud. I thought it would be no big deal if I went off the plan (again and again), a very good plan that involved only spending money for sushi and see what happens? I spend over 30 bucks just like that... dangit.
I forgot to mention that Ryan came by to get some wood for his fireplace. In return he put some gas in my truck. Thats a good trade I think
