Lose weight by eating more frugally

The Plan

Every so often I realize that I've been spending too much. As a result I take a month (although the first time was 40 days) and 'fast' on spending. It's not easy, but it's quite helpful in many ways. Each time I've done this I have actually made between 50 and 200 dollars. Combine that with the money I didn't spend, and the fact that I reformed my spending, it can have a big impact financially.

Day 21: Wolfpack fight

For breakfast today I didn't have any cereal so I decided to make a quesadilla. As I went for the items in the fridge I saw the chicken from my failed attempt at dinner the other night. For the record, it makes a great filler for a cheese quesadilla! I'll know better next time. Laundry was the other event for the morning. I didn't do a lot, but thought I'd give it a start since I hate doing piles and piles all Sunday long.

Today is game day, VT vs NCState! Going to be a bunch of people Starr, Starr's mom, Jessica, Dusty and Matt will all be going to the game with me. They all brought food and we cooked out. It was really nice out so it was great to be able to start up the grill and have a brat before the game. Matt paid me $45 for his ticket and Starr was going to wait until next time we got together. Jessica and Dusty (friends with Starr) had seats elsewhere so after half time Starr and her mom went along to join them. Matt and I waited a bit and then came over to the south endzone. Matt let me share some kettle corn and I got a sprite to drink. Overall, a nice night especially since we won the game. After the game I was going to eat the two leftover brats but realized I left them out on the counter. Boo! So for dinner I had leftover quesadilla which was tasty and substantial enough to keep me full.
