Air Trip

Hmm... Monday was fun. We were lazy and had a late start. Instead of the 4 days of rain that had been predicted, we actually had a snowy start. 6 inches or so overnight. Kia headed out to the car and started it up to get it warm. Shortly after some swearing, we called AAA and got the keys out that were locked in. Oh well. The rest of the day we went and enjoyed the great weather.

Fresh powder is quite a change from the usual snow we see. It's great if you are the first to ride on it. But takes some getting used to if you are late in the game. Just gets choppy. Like my hair? I thought it was a pretty good trade off for the protection my new helmet gave me from my occasional rolls. When we left it was getting pretty cloudy. And on a mountain, cloudy = foggy.
