| Traveling to London went very smoothly. I hopped on my morning flight, got some dough, and was on my way. I was very happy to see that I got an seat back tv to myself. I watched a few movies and kept track of the flight as we went along. Once I arrived went with Bree and she showed me the hotel that I was going to be staying at. It was a nice place. Right near Piccadilly. Only thing I didn't like was the fact that the light in the bathroom wasn't grounded. Got a nice Euro-lectric hello from that one. The first non travel day was lots of driving. We got a car and went to Stonehenge. The driving experience, in a word, scary. It was like I was driving in a mirror, backwards, and upside down. Oh and I don't drive stick shift too well. I did ok, to Stonehenge. We got to walk around and listen to an audio tour. Did you know that Stonehenge is told to have been brought by the devil? Just one of many amusing possible explanations. Next was the town of Bath. I was interested to find that there actually was a bathhouse there. We walked through the Abby, and took the tour of the roman baths. Then we got the heck out of there, and straight into Rush hour traffic. Bree was kind enough to drive the last leg. My nerves were shot. She did much better with the whole stick shift thing. That night we had tickets to ride the London Eye. It was a little tough to find at first, but we made it just before it closed. The Eye is a big ol ferris wheel. We were stuck in there with a little kid that found it amusing to scream lots and steal purses. How cute. Most of the pictures I took didn't come out well because if you use a flash, it just bounces back at you , and on top of all that, it never stops moving, so distance pictures got a little blurry with the long exposure. Bree spotted a few fireworks (what with it being the 4th of July and all). I made sure to take a few pictures of the Eye once we left. You will note that I take of the larger buildings are put together from several pictures. Hopefully they came out well. - Me
