I got changed (see how
pretty I am with my shaggy hair) and wandered back to my second
home, the terrace at the student union.
For
dinner
I had
a brat and a large tasty refreshing
Sprite.
For some reason I was craving a Sprite. For the rest of the day
I sayt around and watched people go by. People watching is quite
fun and I missed doing it at the beaches in Rhode Island. I didn't
take many pictures of them, though I did take a little quicktime
movie of some kids who where quite
entertaining.

The whole time I was sitting aorund I started to notice that there
was quite a crowd forming. The reason for the crowd was a super fun
Madison institution of Pat McCurdy. Well at least I think that is
his name. He was a nutty guy with a lot of stupid songs, but he had
quite a following that even included members of the UW marching band.
He had a few songs that he let people jump up on stage and dance.
Best part when he let other people sing. Just people from the crowd,
but they were actually quite good. |

This young gentlemen to the left is singing a little ditty by
The Outfield. Some of the other songs were sung by the stage manager,
and some random fellow that may have been under the influence of
something other than Sprite.
At the break I got a call from Jess and Nick. They told me that
Jaime was at the show as well so I told them to call her and have
her meet me at the condiments bar. I hung out with her and a few
other friends until Nick and Jess came in. |
Then we went off, got some tasty pizza, saw some poor guy toss
his pizza, and then wandered off to a bar where I got another Sprite.
This Sprite thing is getting a little wierd. After my Sprite fix,
we went on back to the hotel and conked out for the night. Tomorrow
was a very important day. It Saturday, the day of the big farmer's
market. |
