Day 5: 5am Starts 5 States (part 1)

Andy dropped me off around 1am Saturday morning. I
took a quick 'nap' and was up bright and early, ready to ride off
into the sunset. Well... I suppose it was more like riding off into
the sunrise. As you might guess, Will's car was quite full. Looked
like we had half of a 'low rider' when we left the house. Fueled
up and ready to go. Will took us out, and I went to sleep. |

The plan was to go through California
to Nevada, a quick pass through Arizona, through Utah, and ending
up in Colorado for the night.
Along the way, Will and I planned to do some sight seeing. Since
I had a voice recorder on me for work, I thought we would use it
for the trip too.

Before we crossed through Vegas we took a detour
to the Hoover dam. It added an hour or two but it was worth it.
