Day 4: Peers and Piers
Andy and I did a lot of catching up. Charlene seemed to tolerate
us pretty well. We went to a bar that sort of hangs off the cliffs
over the ocean. After that was a quick drive through Topenga Canyon.
Somewhere along the drive we decided to check out a movie. There was
a big production finding a good theatre to go to. In the end we found
a few showings that would be good. First though we had some food at
a cafe that does fancy duck pictures with the foam in thier cappacinos.
We put away a big plate of Medditeranian food and scooted over to
the movie. |

We were late for the showing that we wanted so we went to Amoeba
Records before our showing started . I found a lot of good vinyl to
add to my collection. It was a little more than I would usually spend
on music. All for a good cause though. The theater, Arc Light, was
unique. When you buy your ticket, you pick your seat. So you can get
whatever spot is available. Your printed ticket has a seat number
and everything. Right before the movie began a guy in the theatre
jumped up and attempted to get us all excited about the upcoming feature.
I think he worked there, but who knows. |
