Cathy Cheliras is the mother of my close friend Melissa. She posted some great pictures and stories from when she handed out Esther’s roses today.
“My first roses went to my sweet husband, who has given me a life time of roses.
Then I drove to town and gave a roses to the hostess at our local bistro, Cotton’s.
She was quite emotional about receiving the flower.
The 3rd rose went to a customer on the patio at Cotton’s.
Then I noticed my gas tank was empty. The 4th rose went to someone pumping gas at the 7 11.
Next this cute couple having Ice Cream at Bruster’s
Couldn’t stop until we handed them out to the other couple enjoying Ice Cream.
Could not forget the guy scoping out all that Ice Cream…
…and then one for my dear friend who handled the camera during this escapade.
I will give the last one to our girl, tomorrow.”
Getting the roses to Cathy was quite an effort because of some issues with the orders but I didn’t give up. I didn’t even realize that this year the last of Esther’s roses would go to Melissa. I don’t remember if I ever gave her one before.
