My good friends Nick and Jess are getting married. So Taikara
and I went on to a good old fashioned road trip to go join in the
fun. The trip up, though long, went pretty well. You will note here
that Indiana is wretchedly boring.

In no time at all (ha!) we arrived at Chicago. There was some serious
construction going on, but we had a detour lane that took us past
all the local traffic. By the time we arrived at the hotel, we were
quite happy to stretch our legs. In the hotel room, we found this
sign. It amused us both greatly. |

| Thanks to the wonder of cell phones, we caught up with
Nick his crew at the Great Dane. Much beer and discussion ensued.
It was pretty cool to see some of Nick's cousins that I last saw in
diapers. They are doing much better now. I also got to catch up with
Nick's brother Greg, an old family friend Ryan, and several Nick/Jess
friends that I have met or only heard of before. Afterward, sleep
was in order... The farmers market started bright and early on Saturday.
