The Plan

Every so often I realize that I've been spending too much. As a result I take a month (although the first time was 40 days) and 'fast' on spending. It's not easy, but it's quite helpful in many ways. Each time I've done this I have actually made between 50 and 200 dollars. Combine that with the money I didn't spend, and the fact that I reformed my spending, it can have a big impact financially.

Day 27: Kennedy invite

Friday was a good day for being lazy-ish. I went to see the Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Festival of Trees with mom. It is an annual thing that comes to the fairgrounds. People and groups decorate trees (big and small), wreaths, and gingerbread houses, which are then sold for the charity. It was a lot of fun to wander around and see all the trees thought the best part was the gingerbread houses... really impressive. Mom and I met the father of one of the award winners. He was very proud.

After the trees we went with Ann to her house and I worked on a couple of things. Nothing fancy, but it's always fun to work on old houses! Once we were back at the house Ann and I watched a truly strange movie on TV and we all had tilapia for dinner. Later on Anna came into town to visit I had a half of a turkey sandwich while she had stew. Afterward we flipped around on tv looking for something good. Sadly the On Demand stuff wasn't working right but we were able to watch the end of Footloose before we to sleep.
